Job Summary
The Architectural Foreman will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on‑site construction activities for architectural projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to coordinate various teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage daily on‑site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and architectural designs.
- Interpret complex architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide construction teams and ensure accurate execution of design intent.
- Supervise, direct, and coordinate the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and other on‑site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Implement and strictly enforce all company and regulatory safety protocols and procedures, conducting regular safety briefings and inspections.
- Monitor project progress against established timelines, identify potential delays or issues, and proactively implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Manage on‑site logistics, including the efficient delivery, storage, and allocation of materials, equipment, and resources.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients to resolve technical issues and clarify specifications.
- Prepare and submit daily reports, progress updates, and detailed documentation related to site activities, labor hours, material usage, and incidents.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and less experienced workers, enhancing their skills and contributing to team development.
- Participate actively in project meetings, contributing insights on progress, challenges, and upcoming tasks.
- Ensure efficient utilization of all resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maintain budget adherence and minimize waste.
- Address and effectively resolve any on‑site conflicts or disputes that may arise among workers, subcontractors, or other parties.
- Perform meticulous quality checks on all completed work phases, ensuring alignment with architectural design, specifications, and industry best practices.
- Supervise all architectural and finishing works for modular accommodation projects, ensuring execution according to approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and ADNOC requirements.
- Allocate manpower and monitor productivity for efficient resource utilization; coordinate with Construction Engineers, Site Supervisors, QA/QC personnel, and subcontractors.
- Supervise installation and finishing of modular accommodation units, offices, dining facilities, recreation buildings, and associated camp infrastructure.
- Monitor and supervise wall panel installations, gypsum partitions, ceiling systems, doors and windows, flooring, wall cladding, insulation, roofing works, painting, waterproofing, sealant application, joinery, carpentry, and interior finishing activities.
- Ensure all architectural works comply with approved shop drawings and project specifications.
- Supervise assembly and installation of prefabricated/modular building components, monitor structural alignment, panel fixing, finishing quality, and installation sequencing; coordinate with MEP and structural teams.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify defects or non‑conformities; coordinate with QA/QC inspectors to ensure punch‑list items are rectified and closed within project timelines.
- Enforce ADNOC HSE policies and site safety procedures; conduct toolbox talks, ensure proper use of PPE, and report unsafe conditions.
- Maintain daily site records, productivity reports, and material usage reports; coordinate material requirements with procurement and site logistics teams.
- Support accommodation module fabrication, assembly, installation, and refurbishment activities for ADNOC Onshore and Offshore facilities; ensure compliance with offshore safety requirements and permit‑to‑work systems.
