• Main duties consist of mechanical fitting and installations in the assembly and erection of container‑handling cranes such as RTG’s and ASC’s, with projects undertaken in different countries around the world.
• Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained according to international standards and high quality.
• Repair and perform preventive maintenance as per established standards.
• Use hand tools, like power tools and rigging equipment, daily.
• Work all shifts flexibly when the job demands.
• Handle simple and complex heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks and bobcats.
• Be able to work at heights ranging from 30 to 35 metres above ground level.
• Able to work in confined spaces.

• Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the mechanical engineering industry, preferably in crane assembly and erection.
• In possession of a Mechanical Engineering certification and/or diploma issued by a reputable institution, such as City & Guilds or similar.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Possession of a valid driving licence.
