Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in diesel and petrol vehicles. Repair or replace defective engines, transmissions, clutches, brakes, steering, suspension, fuel, cooling, and exhaust systems. Perform preventive maintenance including oil and filter changes, lubrication, fluid replacement, battery inspection, and tire servicing. Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify engine and electrical system faults. Test‑drive vehicles after repairs to verify proper operation and safety.
Inspect vehicle components to ensure compliance with safety and manufacturer standards. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts used. Follow company policies and workplace health, safety and environmental regulations. Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition. Report major defects and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in repairing and maintaining diesel and petrol vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of engine overhauling, transmission, brake, steering, suspension, fuel, cooling, and electrical systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic scanners, hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Familiar with preventive maintenance procedures and manufacturer service standards.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit to perform workshop duties and lift heavy components when required.
- Valid driving license; a UAE driving license is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills and a positive, responsible work attitude.
