Maintenance​/Emergency Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute emergency repairs with precision and speed, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems using diagnostic tools and technical expertise to identify root causes.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery, adhering to maintenance schedules and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent.
• Operate and maintain specialized diagnostic equipment and tools, ensuring their calibration and readiness for immediate use.
• Conduct safety inspections of machinery and work areas, proactively identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
• Collaborate effectively with operations teams to understand equipment status and prioritize urgent repair needs.
• Install, modify, and repair various mechanical and electrical components according to blueprints and schematics.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing 24/7 support for unexpected equipment breakdowns and critical incidents.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls, diagnosing and resolving critical equipment failures to minimize operational downtime.

• 3-4 years of experience in a central gas distribution company (LPG, SNG, LNG).
• Experience with EDS Panel, Sensitron Panel, Prism Panel, and Oldhan Panel installation, commissioning, replacement, fault rectification, and basic programming.
• Proficiency in kitchen detector installation & fault rectification, vapourizer connection fault rectification, and interface work between FACP and GCP.
• UAE driving licence preferred.
