Foreman – Workshop

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of mechanics and technicians ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of all workshop tasks. Oversee the maintenance, repair and servicing of a diverse range of vehicles and machinery upholding high standards of quality. Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures within the workshop to maintain a secure working environment. Manage workshop inventory including parts, tools, and equipment ensuring optimal stock levels and preventing shortages.

Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues providing expert guidance and solutions to the workshop team.

Possesses a vocational degree or certification in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven track record of leadership and team management, effectively guiding and motivating technical personnel. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide array of vehicle types and industrial equipment. Expertise in utilizing diagnostic tools, specialized equipment, and workshop management software. Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations within a workshop setting.
