Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in vehicles utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure accurate repair.
- Install, repair and maintain electrical systems including wiring, batteries and lighting ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Interpret vehicle schematics and wiring diagrams to effectively implement repairs and modifications to electrical systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical components proactively addressing potential issues before they escalate.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in auto electronics is highly preferred.
- Relevant certifications, such as ASE certification in electrical systems, demonstrating expertise in the field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an auto electrician in a fast-paced automotive repair environment.
