Electrician Technician - Low Voltage

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, test and commission low‑voltage electrical systems. Install power and lighting systems, distribution boards, DBs, panel boards and switch gear. Carry out cable laying, cable pulling, glanding, dressing and termination. Install cable trays, trunking, conduits, raceways and containment systems. Install and connect sockets, switches, light fixtures, isolators and electrical accessories. Perform electrical testing, continuity checks, insulation resistance tests and troubleshooting. Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts and single‑line diagrams.

Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and other trades to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved shop drawings and local regulations. Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and organized condition. Report defects, material shortages and installation issues to the supervisor. Attend testing and commissioning activities and rectify punch‑list items. Follow all HSE policies and electrical safety procedures.

• ITI / Diploma / Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Electrician Trade.
• Relevant electrical trade certification is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Electrician in building construction projects.
• GCC/UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Experience in high‑rise residential towers, commercial buildings, hotels, villas, hospitals or mixed‑use developments.
• Experience working with MEP contractors or main contractors is an advantage.

• UAE Electrical Regulations.
• DEWA / ADDC / AADC project experience (preferred).
• Testing & commissioning support.
• Electrical quality standards.
• Building construction practices.
