Workshop Technician

Role Overview

To ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the Miral Experiences Leisure Facilities in the Technical Services Rides Department, supporting the Company Core Process and impacting maintenance of rides, facilities and attractions. This position provides all necessary maintenance to preserve and improve the physical functionality, safety, and appearance of workshop equipment, elevated work platforms, and other assets.

• Perform daily checks, start‑ups, closing procedures, preventive and corrective maintenance on workshop equipment, fabrication, and modification, and support the rides team and operations.
• Ensure the availability of equipment at all times to support and enable smooth operation of the department.
• Support the annual rehab activities of the rides.
• Be an active member of the team to practice safe housekeeping.
• Maintain a safe workplace and equipment for colleagues and guests.
• Respond to and resolve downtime of workshop equipment and assets.
• Report and inform Team Leaders about issues and concerns affecting safe operation of equipment.
• Own and complete tasks assigned by the team leader.
• Complete and submit all preventive maintenance checklists to the Team Leader on time.
• Perform corrective maintenance thoroughly and prevent recurrence.
• Provide feedback on task assignment and work execution if there are concerns.
• Act as a team player, take responsibility, and report on time.
• Attend briefings, training, and development programs for personal growth.

• Educated in a Technical School/Training Institute or a related technical qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on air compressor systems, including Atlas Copco, Kaeser, air dryers, receivers, and pneumatic equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting and solving equipment issues.
• Basic English speaking and writing abilities.
• Safe handling of tools and knowledge of safety protocols.
• Expertise in at least one of the following fields:
• Electrical
• Mechanical

• 4+ years of maintenance experience in a theme park or industrial environment, with knowledge of machining, welding, fabrication, and tools.
• Experience reading drawings, schematic diagrams, hydraulic drawings and diagrams, welding, and fabrication.
