JCB Backhoe Loader Operator

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Backhoe Loader Operator to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a backhoe loader safely and efficiently to support construction, roadwork, excavation, and utility projects.

• Operate the backhoe loader for excavation, trenching, loading, back filling, grading, and material handling.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections and report any mechanical issues or defects.
• Conduct routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of the equipment.
• Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor and complete assigned tasks within project deadlines.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
• Ensure safe operation around personnel, utilities, and other equipment on site.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report fuel consumption or maintenance requirements.
• Assist with other site-related duties as required.

• Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience operating a backhoe loader (JCB or equivalent).
• Valid UAE Heavy Equipment Operator License

• Experience in construction, infrastructure, roadworks, or utility projects.
• Good understanding of equipment maintenance and safe operating practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under varying weather conditions.
• Basic communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Immediate availability is preferred.
