Technician - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and electronic subsystem repairs in accordance with scope of work, using advanced diagnostic tools and standard service procedures.
• Record additional repairs and recommendations.
• Receive repair orders, fully understand scope of work.
• Review vehicle service history, identify recall campaigns.
• Carry out authorized repairs, inform Team Leader of remarks.
• Perform software updates on subsystems per manufacturer recommendations.
• Demonstrate manual dexterity, technical, mechanical, and advanced computer skills.
• Handle ownership of all tasks independently, manage self.
• Follow quality control inspection system to prevent or correct faulty workmanship.
• Handle customer vehicle with utmost care and safely.
• Keep work area clean and maintain tools.
• Participate in training needs assessments and develop technical skills.
• Read and interpret complex documents: safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, repair manuals, wiring diagrams.
• Apply warranty repair guidelines, tag replaced parts, hand over to centralized warranty store.
• Carry out recall campaigns such as airbag replacements per guidelines.
• Diagnose and repair air‑conditioning systems per procedures.
• Maintain compliance with F1 standards and HSE protocols, using required safety gear.

• Educational
  
  Qualifications:
  
  2‑year ITI (Industrial Training Institute – NCVT Certificate) or 3‑year Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an automotive dealership, including at least 2 years as an electrician.

• Physical fitness to perform repairs, demonstrating manual dexterity.
