Glass & Aluminium Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install and replace facade glass panels safely and accurately.
• Apply structural and weatherproof silicone in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Install and replace backer rods, gaskets and related facade sealing materials.
• Carry out silicone repair, re‑sealing and facade waterproofing works.
• Perform glass alignment, adjustment and finishing works.
• Ensure all installations comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Work safely at heights using BMUs, cradles, scaffolding or other approved access systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Coordinate with supervisors and site engineers to complete works on schedule.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facade glass and aluminium works.
• Strong experience in structural glazing and silicone application.
• Knowledge of weatherproof and structural silicone systems.
• Experience in glass replacement for high‑rise buildings is an advantage.
• Ability to work at heights and follow safety procedures.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments.

• Experience with curtain wall and unitized facade systems.
• Ability to read shop drawings and installation details.
• Good workmanship and attention to detail.
• Team player with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
