Job SummaryWeareseekingexperiencedAMISmart Gas Meter Operation &Maintenance Technicians to
performpreventiveandcorrectivemaintenance,troubleshooting,move-in(newgas
connection) andmove-out(gasdisconnection) activities for
Residentialand Commercial
Natural Gas Distribution Systems .Theidealcandidateshouldpossessstrongmechanicaland
basicelectricalknowledgeofgasdistributionsystems,AMIsmartmeteringinfrastructure,
gasdetectionsystemsandfieldtroubleshootingwhileensuringcompliancewithADNOC,
HSE,QA/QCandutilitystandards.
Key Responsibilities Operation&Maintenance- PerformpreventiveandcorrectivemaintenanceofAMISmart Gas Meters .
- Respondtocustomercomplaintsandemergencymaintenancecalls.
- Performroutineinspectionsandfunctionalchecksofgasmeteringsystems.
- Verifymeterperformance,gasleakageandoverallsystemintegrity.
- Carryoutmove-inactivitiesbyrestoringgassupplyfornewoccupants.
- Verifygasmeterconditionandfunctionalitybeforegasrestoration.
- Inspectisolationvalves,regulators,flexiblehoseconnections,fittingsandassociated
- Performleaktesting,pressureverificationandsafetyinspections.
- Restoregassupplyaftercompletingallsafetychecksandrequireddocumentation.
- Performsafegasisolationandservicedisconnection.
- Recordfinalmeterreadings.
- Secureandsealgasservicesaccordingtocompanyprocedures.
- Completeallrequireddocumentationandsystemupdates.
- Troubleshootnon-communicatingAMISmart Gas Meters .
- Checkcommunicationstatusthroughthe Head-End System(HES).
- VerifySIMstatus,APNconfiguration,firmware,RSSI,RSRP,RSRQ,SINR,and
- networkconnectivity.
- Coordinatewithtelecomprovidersforcommunication-related issues.
- Restorecommunicationthroughon-sitediagnosticsandcorrectiveactions.
