Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Drone Operator to operate unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for aerial photography, videography, inspections, surveying, and data collection activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating drones, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to ensure safe and efficient drone operations while complying with aviation regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate drones safely and efficiently for photography, videography, inspections, mapping, and monitoring activities.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks, including equipment inspections, battery management, and system testing.
- Plan flight routes, assess operating conditions, and ensure safe drone deployment.
- Capture high-quality aerial images, videos, and data according to project requirements.
- Monitor drone performance during flights and troubleshoot technical issues when required.
- Maintain and calibrate drone equipment, cameras, sensors, and related accessories.
- Process and organize captured footage, images, and flight data.
- Prepare flight reports, maintenance records, and operational documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local aviation regulations, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and site personnel during drone operations.
- Perform drone surveys, inspections, and site assessments as required.
- Stay updated on drone technology, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Experience with professional drone platforms such as DJI Enterprise series or similar systems.
- Knowledge of GIS, mapping software, photogrammetry, or 3D modeling is preferred.
- Experience working in construction, facilities management, real estate, security, media production, or inspection industries is an advantage.
- Ability to troubleshoot drone hardware and software issues.
- Valid drone pilot certification or license as required by local aviation authorities.
- Ability to operate drones in different environments and weather conditions.
- Experience with aerial photography, videography, surveying, inspection, or mapping is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of photo/video editing and data processing software is an advantage.
