Carpenter - Abu Dhabi, UAE

As a carpenter in Abu Dhabi, UAE, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood and other materials. You will work on a variety of projects including buildings, furniture, and other structures. • Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using rulers, squares or marking gauges
• Select appropriate lumber or other materials needed for each project
• Cut or shape materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines or power saws
• Abbse and fasten materials together using nails, screws or adhesives
• Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings etc.
• Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures
• Follow blueprints or building plans to meet client specifications
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

• Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
• Good knowledge of wood properties and other construction materials
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools accurately
• Physical dexterity and ability to work with hand tools safely
• Excellent time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent

Salary: $1700/month

This position does not require English proficiency but fluency in Arabic is preferred. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. Accommodation can also be provided if necessary.
