Crane operator in Abu-Dhabi, UAE
We are looking for a Crane Operator in Abu Dhabi to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy cranes used in the construction and engineering industry, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the machine at all times.
The ideal candidate should have experience with various types of crane operations and a commitment to safety. They should have good interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. The successful candidate must also pass a safety training program prior to operating any crane.
Responsibilities- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Operate heavy cranes safely and efficiently
- Ensure that all loads are securely placed
- Maintain the crane according to manufacturer's specifications
- Report any mechanical related issues to the supervisor.
- Inspect equipment regularly for potential problems or faults
- Train other operators when required
- Work with other personnel such as engineers or surveyors on site.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in crane operation
- Ability to read blueprints and other engineering documents
- Good knowledge of mechanical systems and components
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overnight shifts when needed
- Must pass safety training prior to operating any crane
- Must be able to work in Abu Dhabi with valid visa, if applicable.
