Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an excavator, ensuring safety standards are met and that all work is carried out efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities

• Perform all excavation work safely and efficiently while adhering to safety regulations at all times.
• Operate the excavator in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on the machine.
• Load materials into/out of the excavator.
• Handle hazardous materials correctly.
• Identify any potential hazards or risks associated with the job site.
• Keep accurate records of each job site including hours worked, materials used, etc.
• Ensure all tasks are completed within deadlines set by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience operating an excavator in a safe manner.
• Knowledge of construction standards.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to interpret plans & diagrams.
• Physical fitness.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality of workmanship.
• Willingness to learn new techniques & methods.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations & procedures including OSHA compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in English language (reading & writing).
• Preferred but not mandatory: experience working in an international setting or specialized training related to excavation work (e.g. CSCS card holder or equivalent certificate holders from other countries).
