ABC Motors is looking for an experienced Mason to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. We are ready to consider a foreigner for this role.
Requirements- Proven experience as a mason or similar role
- Knowledge of building materials, methods and techniques
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ability to work with stone, brick, tiles, marble, concrete blocks and other materials
- Knowledge of occupational safety standards and procedures
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Constructing masonry structures according to specifications
- Laying bricks, blocks or stone in mortar beds or dry stack patterns around windows and door frames, roofs, walls etc.
- Cutting bricks and blocks using power saws or hand tools
- Mixing mortar or grout for use in installation or repair tasks
- Ensuring the quality of the work meets the required standards
- Following safety guidelines when performing tasks
- Cleaning up job sites when finished
