Lifting Supervisor

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Lifting Supervisor in Abu Dhabi, UAE
. Our client is seeking skilled, motivated professionals with strong experience in supervising lifting activities and maintaining safe lifting operations. If you meet the requirements below, apply early as positions are limited.

• Supervise day-to-day lifting and rigging activities at the assigned worksite.
• Review lifting requirements and ensure lifting activities are carried out according to approved lifting plans and site procedures.
• Verify cranes, lifting accessories, slings, shackles and related equipment are suitable for the intended lifting operation.
• Coordinate crane operators, riggers, signalmen and other personnel involved in lifting activities.
• Conduct pre-lift checks, toolbox discussions and task-specific risk assessments before lifting begins.
• Monitor lifting operations continuously and stop work when unsafe conditions or deviations are identified.
• Ensure lifting zones are properly barricaded and personnel remain clear of suspended loads.
• Maintain lifting-operation records and report equipment defects, incidents or unsafe conditions to site management.

Lifting Operations Supervision: Ability to control lifting activities safely from preparation through completion.

Lift Planning: Ability to interpret lifting plans, load information and operational requirements.

Rigging & Slinging Knowledge: Strong understanding of slings, shackles, lifting accessories and safe rigging practices.

Lifting Equipment Inspection: Ability to verify equipment condition, identification and suitability before use.

Safety & Risk Control: Ability to identify lifting hazards and implement appropriate control measures.

Strong understanding of crane operating limitations and load-control principles.

Experience coordinating multidisciplinary lifting crews on industrial sites.

Familiarity with permit-to-work and site-specific lifting-control systems.

Minimum 5 years of experience is required as provided in the requirement. Candidates should have practical exposure to supervising lifting, crane and rigging operations in a structured site environment. Specific industry experience was not stated.

Minimum: Typical — Diploma or technical qualification relevant to mechanical, industrial or lifting operations.

Preferred: Typical — Relevant lifting supervision or rigging certification.
