HVAC Electrician – Oil & Gas, Remote Sites

Job Description

• Perform electrical installation works related to HVAC equipment and systems.
• Install power and control wiring for AHUs, FCUs, FAHUs, exhaust fans, ventilation fans, pumps, chillers, and package units.
• Carry out cable pulling, dressing, glanding, termination, and connection works for HVAC equipment.
• Install conduits, cable trays, trunking, isolators, junction boxes, and electrical accessories.
• Connect motors, starters, VFDs, control panels, sensors, actuators, and field devices as per approved drawings.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and HVAC equipment connection diagrams.
• Perform continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Assist in testing and commissioning activities for HVAC electrical systems.
• Coordinate with HVAC technicians during equipment installation and functional testing.
• Ensure correct identification and routing of cables as per cable schedules and drawings.
• Inspect electrical connections and rectify installation issues as instructed by the Electrical Foreman.
• Use electrical tools, testing instruments, and equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Report material shortages, damaged equipment, and technical issues to the Electrical Foreman.
• Maintain proper housekeeping at the workplace and ensure safe working conditions.

• ITI / Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Electrician.
• Experience in HVAC electrical installation for Oil & Gas or Industrial projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC electrical wiring and installation practices.
• Experience in cable pulling, termination, glanding, and testing.

• Willingness to work in remote locations as required.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
