Job description
Equipment Installation amp Setup
- Install and commission commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens chillers freezers fryers dishwashers and steamers
- Ensure proper electrical gas and water connections as per safety standards
- Test equipment functionality after installation
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Clean and service internal components to prevent breakdowns
- Diagnose mechanical electrical and refrigeration faults
- Repair or replace defective parts
- Maintain cold rooms chillers and freezers
- Check gas levels compressors thermostats and electrical panels
- Ensure temperature compliance for food safety standards
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and hygiene regulations
- Follow UAE local authority guidelines e g municipality and food safety standards
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
