- Safely operate the sideboom for lifting, lowering, and moving heavy pipes and materials with precision.
- Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on the sideboom to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Interpret and follow lifting plans, engineering drawings, and site-specific safety procedures.
- Maintain constant visual contact with the load and surrounding work area to prevent accidents.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess a valid Sideboom Operator certification from a recognized industry body.
- Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating sideboom equipment in pipeline construction or heavy industrial settings.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of load charts, rigging principles, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Exhibit excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness for precise load control.
