We are seeking a highly experienced Rigging Supervisor to lead and coordinate all rigging and lifting activities on major EPC Oil & Gas projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of heavy lifting, hoisting, and rigging operations while maintaining the highest HSE standards.

YOUR ROLEAs Rigging Supervisor
, you will
- Supervise daily rigging and lifting operations involving cranes, hoists, chain blocks, slings, and other lifting equipment.
- Ensure safe lifting, lowering, and movement of heavy machinery, structural steel, process equipment, and mechanical components.
- Review and verify lifting plans, load calculations, and weight distribution prior to execution.
- Ensure proper selection, inspection, and use of lifting accessories including shackles, slings, hooks, eyebolts, and spreader beams.
- Oversee installation and dismantling of temporary lifting structures, supports, and lifting frames.
- Coordinate lifting operations across Civil, Mechanical, and E&I disciplines.
- Enforce compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and approved lifting procedures.
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments for critical lifting activities.
- Ensure effective crane signaling and communication during lifting operations.
- Monitor PPE compliance, lifting equipment certifications, and crane load limitations.
- Investigate and report unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents.
- Lead and supervise riggers, crane operators, signalmen, helpers, and subcontractors.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor workforce productivity and discipline.
- Conduct toolbox talks, pre-lift meetings, and safety briefings.
- Mentor team members on best practices in rigging, lifting safety, and equipment handling.
- Ensure availability, certification, and proper maintenance of lifting equipment and rigging accessories.
- Verify calibration and inspection records for lifting equipment.
- Maintain rigging equipment inventory and consumable stock levels.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and inspection practices to maximize equipment safety and lifespan.
- Coordinate with construction teams, engineers, planners, and site management to optimize lifting schedules.
- Participate in lifting coordination and installation meetings.
- Maintain lifting registers, inspection logs, equipment certificates, and daily activity reports.
- Track manpower utilization and equipment operational hours.
- Support preparation of lift reports, incident investigations, and project documentation.
- Must have 10-12 years of experience in rigging and lifting supervision within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial Construction, or EPC projects.
- Proven experience managing complex and critical lifting operations.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Certified Rigging Supervisor and/or Certified Crane Operator from a recognized institution.
