Overhaul of rotating equipments such as industrial pumps and compressors.
Service and overhaul compressors within the candidate’s area of experience.
Inspect shafts, bearings, impellers, seals, couplings, and other internal components.
Measure and record clearances, tolerances, and component wear.
Replace mechanical seals, bearings, gaskets, and damaged parts.
Perform shaft alignment using dial indicators or laser alignment equipment.
Read technical drawings and follow manufacturer overhaul procedures.
Troubleshoot vibration, leakage, overheating, and performance problems.
Prepare inspection reports and identify spare parts required for repairs.
Carry out workshop and site maintenance while following safety procedures.
ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
Proven practical experience independently overhauling pumps and compressors.
Good knowledge of mechanical seals, bearings, lubrication, and shaft alignment.
Ability to use micrometers, vernier calipers, dial gauges, and other precision tools.
Ability to communicate findings clearly and prepare basic service reports.
Willingness to work at customer sites as required.
