Perform TIG/GTAW and Arc/SMAW welding on various fabrication/valve/metal components comprising of various materials.
Carry out cutting, grinding, joint preparation, fit-up and fabrication as per drawings.
Follow approved welding procedure specifications (WPS) and ensure weld quality.
Inspect welds visually and rectify defects as required.
Execute fabrication, installation and repair work at the workshop and project sites.
Maintain welding equipment and follow company safety procedures.
Valid welder qualification certificates covering TIG/GTAW and Arc/SMAW welding.
Practical experience in stainless steel and carbon steel welding and fabrication.
Ability to read technical drawings and follow welding procedures.
Knowledge of welding positions, common welding defects and quality requirements.
Industrial maintenance or oil and gas experience preferred.
Willingness to work at the workshop and project sites.
Must pass a practical welding assessment.
