Heavy Equipment Operator, Construction Manager/ Foreman, Installation Technician, Crane Operator
Supervise rigging operations, heavy lifting activities, and equipment installation at industrial sites.
Lead and coordinate riggers, crane operators, banksmen, drivers, and other assigned personnel.
Prepare and review lifting plans and supervise critical and high-risk lifting operations.
Ensure the safe handling, transportation, shifting, and positioning of heavy equipment and materials.
Coordinate the availability and deployment of cranes, forklifts, trucks, trailers, and other heavy-duty equipment.
Monitor ongoing work, allocate tasks, resolve operational issues, and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
Inspect rigging tools, lifting tackles, and equipment to ensure they are safe and fit for use.
Identify lifting hazards and implement appropriate control measures before and during lifting operations.
Ensure proper rigging signals and effective communication between riggers, banksmen, and crane operators.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and regular workplace inspections.
Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, Permit to Work (PTW) requirements, WMS procedures, and HSE regulations.
Maintain work records, activity reports, equipment inspection records, and proper housekeeping.
Support equipment maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, and major overhaul activities.
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members to improve their technical and safety skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly ADNOC projects.
Familiarity with ADNOC standards, lifting procedures, and Permit to Work systems.
Experience coordinating heavy-duty vehicles, cranes, forklifts, trailers, and industrial equipment.Education: Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Total Experience: 6–8 years of rigging experience in an industrial environment.
Supervisory Experience: Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role.
Certification: ADNOC-approved third-party tutor certification, as applicable to the role.
Appointed Person: Successful completion of the 4-day Appointed Person course through an ADNOC Group-approved training company and tutor, including applicable examinations.
WMS / Permit Authority: ADNOC-approved WMS training, successful completion of applicable examinations, and Permit Authority (PA) certification as required.
Proven ability to prepare lifting plans and supervise and execute critical lifting operations.
Experience leading crane operators, riggers, and banksmen.
Strong knowledge of lifting safety, rigging equipment, lifting tackles, and HSE procedures.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Must be medically and physically fit to perform the assigned duties and meet applicable ADNOC medical requirements.
