Electrician – Residential Villas Project; First Fix

IREP is seeking experienced, certified Electricians to deliver electrical first-fix installation on a new-build residential villas project in Baniyas, Abu Dhabi. Candidates should have a strong track record in the electrical fit-out of villas and residential buildings across the GCC.

Important: Only candidates currently in Abu Dhabi with valid UAE visas will be considered.

• Carry out electrical first-fix installation in new-build villas, working to approved drawings and specifications.
• Set out and install conduits, back boxes, trunking, cable trays and other containment in walls, slabs and ceilings.
• Pull and dress power, lighting, small power and low-current cabling to the agreed routes.
• Install and prepare DBs, SMDBs and earthing provisions ready for second fix and termination.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts and schedules, and raise any discrepancies with the site supervisor.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP and finishing trades to keep work in sequence and to programme.
• Support inspections, snagging and quality checks so each villa is signed off before handover to the next stage.
• Follow site HSE requirements, permit-to-work procedures and safe working practices at all times.
• Keep the work area tidy and report daily progress against the villa schedule.

• Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical Engineering,
  
  B.Tech, or an equivalent recognised electrical trade qualification.
• 5–6 years’ GCC experience in electrical installation on residential villas, compounds or building projects.
• Proven hands-on experience of first-fix containment, conduit and cabling works.
• Working knowledge of UAE / Abu Dhabi wiring regulations and electrical safety standards.
• Able to read and work from electrical drawings with minimal supervision.
• Candidates available immediately or at short notice will be preferred.

Experience on large-scale residential villa or compound developments, and valid site safety certification.
