ADNOC Group is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to carry out preventive, breakdown and shutdown maintenance activities on plant mechanical equipment in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on maintaining equipment reliability, supporting continuous production and ensuring that mechanical maintenance work meets operational, quality and safety requirements. The successful candidate will perform routine servicing, major equipment overhauls, fault diagnosis, component replacement, equipment installation and testing.

The position also involves maintaining accurate work records, supporting maintenance improvements and following approved work procedures under supervisory guidance.

• Carry out assigned routine and preventive maintenance activities on plant mechanical equipment.
• Inspect equipment condition and identify worn, damaged or defective components requiring attention.
• Replace worn or damaged parts in accordance with maintenance requirements and approved procedures.
• Arrange and perform necessary equipment test runs to verify safe and reliable operation.
• Support equipment availability through timely completion of scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Follow established maintenance instructions and applicable operational safety requirements.

• Perform major overhauls of mechanical equipment to restore and maintain operational reliability.
• Measure and verify equipment clearances accurately during overhaul and reassembly activities.
• Assess the condition of mechanical components and determine whether parts can be reused or require replacement.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and repairs to address equipment faults and breakdowns.
• Participate in diagnosing complex mechanical equipment failures.
• Inspect and test completed maintenance work to confirm that equipment operates efficiently and meets specified requirements.
• Support the timely restoration of equipment following breakdowns and shutdown maintenance activities.

• Carry out new mechanical equipment installations and modifications in accordance with approved plans and supervisory instructions.
• Perform equipment testing at the required stages of installation or modification.
• Verify that relevant operating parameters meet specified requirements.
• Assist senior section personnel in implementing equipment and system improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve mechanical maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Ensure completed work meets applicable technical and operational requirements.

• Identify spare parts, tools and materials required for assigned maintenance activities.
• Arrange for the availability of necessary maintenance resources to support job completion.
• Coordinate assigned work activities in accordance with maintenance priorities and supervisory instructions.
• Provide accurate information on maintenance requirements, equipment condition and work progress.
• Support effective use of materials, labour and maintenance time.

• Prepare and verify comprehensive daily maintenance activity reports.
