Marine Engine - Dept. Supervisor Diesel Engine

Salary: AED 8,000 - AED 10,000 Per Month (All Inclusive)

The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhauling of high-speed 4-stroke marine diesel engines, along with the ability to supervise technical teams and manage workshop and onboard maintenance operations.

• Supervise maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhauling of high-speed 4-stroke marine diesel engines.
• Lead top overhauls, major overhauls, and routine engine maintenance in marine workshops and onboard vessels.
• Work with marine diesel engines from manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Cummins, MTU, Volvo Penta, MAN, and Yanmar.
• Supervise inspection and reconditioning of cylinder heads, pistons, liners, crankshafts, bearings, turbochargers, and fuel injection systems.
• Diagnose engine faults, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement effective technical solutions.
• Oversee fuel injector and fuel pump servicing, testing, and calibration.
• Allocate manpower, monitor daily job progress, and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with OEM specifications, technical standards, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
• Prepare technical reports and coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth operations and provide technical guidance.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• 5–8 years of proven experience in marine diesel engine maintenance and overhauling, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with high-speed 4-stroke marine diesel engines.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine overhauling, fuel injection systems, turbochargers, and major engine components.
• Experience working in a shipyard, marine workshop, or marine engine service company is preferred.
• Ability to interpret OEM manuals, engine drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical reporting, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English is required;
  Arabic is an advantage.
