Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting processes related to sales and marketing expenses, debt, and prepaids including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations, as well as fluctuation analyses.
Responsibilities:
- Support monthly close and internal reporting process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for accrued sales and marketing expenses, debt, and prepaids
- Assist in ensuring that financial statements are in compliance with US GAAP
- Analyze monthly and quarterly fluctuations in accounts associated with areas of responsibility
- Assist with completion of internal controls associated with areas of responsibility
- Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes
- Provide support to General Accounting group with operational analysis as related to recurring transactions and the monthly account reconciliation process
- Provide support for accounting for new business initiatives
- Assist with various projects and accounting matters and drive value within the business
- Performs other duties as required
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, MSA / MBA a plus
- 3-4 years of public accounting and / or corporate experience at SEC registered entities
Preferred Skills and
Competencies:
- Proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office Software, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Deadline oriented with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Team player and collaborative
- Experience with SAP a plus
NOTE:
This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office.
Compensation & Benefits:
For U.S.
-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $78,500.00 - $. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
