Payroll Specialist

I'm partnering with a leading biotechnology company that is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join its global payroll team.

This is a hands-on role supporting the end-to-end processing of biweekly payroll for 3,000+ US employees using Workday. You'll work closely with Payroll, HR, and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance, and reporting.

What You'll Be Doing

• Process biweekly US payroll for 3,000+ employees
• Audit payroll data, taxes, deductions, and earnings
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Support off-cycle payroll processing
• Partner with HR and Finance teams to maintain data accuracy
• Provide backup support for international payroll operations

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of multi-state US payroll experience
• Payroll tax and compliance expertise
• Experience supporting payroll operations in Canada, Mexico, and/or Costa Rica
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
