Colonial Chevrolet of Acton is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive drivability / transmission Technician to join our team. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained. This position offers a competitive salary of $40 to $50 per hour, paid weekly. $5000.00 sign on bonus

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
• Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs needed and provide status updates
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working in the shop
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in ongoing training and development

Requirements:

• Ability to diagnose and repair drivability issues as well transmission issues
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• ASE certification preferred
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
