Job Summary:
Toassistprojectmanagersinorganizingandcoordinatingtheproject.
Oneachprojectthisisexpectedinordertocompletetheworksafely,onschedule,within budget,andtothequalityofworkmanshipspecified.
- Assist Project Managerwithallaspectsofassignedprojects ,havingafullunderstandingofthescopeofwork,budget,andprojectschedule.
- Assistwithobtainingpricingfromvendorsandsubcontractors,ensureordersaretospecandwithinbudget.
- Assistwiththepreparationofsubmittalpackagesandbuyoutforprojects,ensurematerialsareorderedtomeetschedulemilestones.
- Prepareandmaintain Request for Information (RFI) ordersregardingdesigndetails.
- Maintain
B2WTrackforadditionstoworkitemsandquantityclaiming. - Reviewandcostcodevendorandsubcontractorinvoices.
- Assistwithdeveloping/negotiation/submittingpayrequisitionsforprojects.
- Jobcost,project management,andschedulingsoftwaresystemsuseddaily.
- Comfortableworkinginateamenvironment
- Mustbecomfortablecommunicatingwithalllevelsof Management,Owners/Architects/Design Engineers,Site Foreman,Laborers&Operators.
- Knowledgeofconstructionprocedures,equipment operation,andcurrentOSHAsafetystandards
- Abilitytoreaddrawings,plansandengineeringspecifications.
- Excellent organizational,time management,andcommunicationskills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with
Bluebeamorsimilar
PDFviewer/editingsoftwareispreferred.
Experience:
- Aminimumof2yearsconstructionindustryexperience.
- Construction Managementdegreepreferred.
- OSHA
10certification - Valid driver’slicense
- Prolongedperiodssittingatadeskandworkingonacomputer.
- Mustbeabletoworkinalltypesofweather,includingextremelyhotandextremelycoldtemperatures.
- Mustbeabletoliftandmoveupto
50pounds.
