Key Responsibilities- Leadthe Excavation Division 'sbusinessplan,budget,staffing,operatingpriorities,andperformancegoals.
- Managedivisionalfinancialperformance,including revenue,margins,overhead,forecasting,backlog,andprofit-and-loss results.
- Partnerwithestimatingandexecutiveleadershiponbidstrategy,customer relationships,contract terms,andpursuitpriorities.
- Overseeexcavationprojectsfromestimatingthroughcompletion,ensuringproperstaffing,scheduling,equipmentplanning,safety,quality,andcontractcompliance.
- Developandsupportprojectmanagement,field operations,estimating,andsupervisoryteamswhilefosteringaccountability,teamwork,andcontinuousimprovement.
- Champion safety,compliance,andoperationalexcellenceacrossallexcavationwork.
- Buildandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithcustomers,subcontractors,vendors,partners,andinternaldepartments.
- 15+yearsofprogressiveexperienceinexcavation,heavy civil,site development,underground utility,orrelatedconstructionwork.
- Seniorleadershipexperiencemanagingasignificantprojectportfolio,business unit,orlargeconstructionteam.
- Strongfinancialmanagementexperience,includingP&Lownership,forecasting,WIPreview,jobcosts,budgets,change management,and profitability.
- Strongunderstandingofexcavationoperations,estimating,project management,scheduling,production planning,construction safety,and compliance.
- Provenabilitytoleadthroughothers,buildstrongteams,managecustomerrelationships,solve problems,andmakesoundbusinessdecisions.
- Fluentin Microsoft Office Suite ,HCSSorsimilarconstructionmanagementsoftware,andERPsystemssuchas
Sage,Viewpoint Vista.
- Frequenttraveltoconstructionsites,customer meetings,andcompanylocations.
- Workinbothofficeandoutdoorconstructionenvironments,includingactivejobsitesanduneventerrain.
- Flexibilitytomeetprojectandoperationaldemands.
