Acton-Boxborough Extended Day is hiring Assistant Teachers. Our ideal candidate is creative, caring, passionate, and enjoys spending time with children aged 5 to 12. Responsibilities include assisting site leadership with day-to-day program operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in the program, providing general program supervision, developing and implementing curriculum, and guiding and supporting children in their development of social skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team is a must!

Locations and
Hours:
Extended Day operates at all Acton-Boxborough elementary schools and is open every day of the school year. Part-time employees may work up to 19.5 hours per week on a regular basis. Morning shifts are from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., and those working after school are typically scheduled either 2:45 - 5:45 p.m. or 3 - 6 p.m. Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday and 12:30 - 6 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Please include your availability within your application. Salary: $19.66 - $22.67/hour, plus an additional $5.00 per hour on Wednesday early release afternoons between 12:30 and 6:00 p.m.
