Overview
The Regional School District Energy Manager is responsible for analyzing and optimizing energy use across school operations to reduce energy costs, improve efficiency and enhance sustainability. This role involves tracking energy use, identifying and implementing energy-saving strategies, and fostering a culture of energy efficiency within the school district. The Energy Manager works collaboratively with administrators, staff and external partners to achieve energy goals aligned with the district's policies and strategic plan.
Responsibilities- Analyze and optimize energy use across school operations to reduce energy costs, improve efficiency and support sustainability goals.
- Track energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy savings.
- Identify and implement energy-saving strategies in collaboration with district stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of energy efficiency within the school district and promote best practices.
- Collaborate with administrators, staff and external partners to achieve energy goals aligned with district policies and strategic plan.
Massachusetts certification and successful, supervised experience within the last five years as teacher, student teacher, intern or apprentice in this discipline.
