Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing airfield project plans, including grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, stormwater management, and contract documents for airport improvement projects across general aviation and commercial service airports in the Northeast.
  • Work under close supervision with detailed instructions to gain experience and familiarity with engineering methods, practices, and programs.
  • Perform seasonal construction observation at various airport sites, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
  • Engineering Intern (E.I) Certification preferred.
  • 0–3 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D design/drafting experience preferred.
  • FAA/DOT design requirements, specifications, funding, and understanding of airport operations preferred.
  • Must be eligible for security badge clearance (SIDA) at U.S. airports.
