Mission
The mission of the Water Resources Advisory Committee (WRAC) is to focus on the protection of Acton's water resources by monitoring the management of wastewater and stormwater disposal in the town.
Committee RoleAs an advisory body to the Board of Selectmen, the committee analyzes and evaluates recommendations from the Comprehensive Water Resources Management Plan and develops a schedule of implementation of appropriate recommendations for consideration by the Selectmen.
A major component of the Committee's duties is public outreach and education regarding the various water management programs as they relate to the long-term protection of Acton's water resources.
