Our assistant program is not just a job, it is a clear, structured pathway for soon-to-be licensed and newly licensed cosmetology graduates to a thriving, full-time Floor Stylist.

Our 18-Month Assistant & Apprentice Program is designed to build your confidence, refine your technical mastery, and teach you the business skills needed to build a lucrative, long-term career.

Structured Technical Development: A clear 4-phase curriculum that guides you through foundational basin protocols, advanced blowout geometry, precision cutting, custom formulation, and specialty color techniques (balayage, color melting, glazing).

Monthly Team Masterclasses: Mandatory, paid monthly Monday education sessions led by senior team members and industry experts.

Live Supervised Client

Experience:

Build your speed and confidence behind the chair hosting our dedicated weekly Blow Dry Bar and regular model days.

One-on-One Mentorship: Direct shadowing and assisting with top-tier Senior and Master Stylists.

Career Fast-Track: Clear gateway benchmarks lead directly to a formal promotion and chair on our salon floor.

Phase 1 (Months 1–3) — Hospitality & Scalp Wellness: Master guest hospitality, front desk operations, custom product pairing, and our signature luxury scalp massage rituals.

Phase 2 (Months 4–6) — Blowout Mastery & Live Practice: Achieve full basin independence, refine round-brush and hot tool mechanics, and host live clients in our weekly Blow Dry Bar.

Phase 3 (Months 7–12) — Technical Execution: Assist senior stylists with foil placements and formulations while completing hands‑on workshops in core cutting shapes (bobs, layers) and single-process color.

Phase 4 (Months 13–18) — Floor Readiness & Speed: Perfect multi-booking timing, perform full-service model appointments, master retail prescriptions, and showcase your skills in a final Test-Out Showcase.

• License: Active or pending Massachusetts Cosmetology License.

• Passion: Eagerness to learn, refine skills, and take constructive feedback.

• Professionalism: High standard of personal presentation, punctuality, and guest communication.

• Team Player: Proactive attitude toward keeping the salon floor running smoothly (station setup, inventory support, basin maintenance).
