Schedule: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
Travel: Up to 15% (domestic and international)

Key Accountabilities- Provide medical leadership and strategic guidance to global, cross-functional project teams, influencing key program and operational decisions.
- Serve as the medical subject matter expert in diabetes management, leveraging clinical experience, standards of care, published literature, and key opinion leader (KOL) insights.
- Define medically sound product design requirements and assess system and user-related risks, recommending appropriate risk control and mitigation strategies.
- Partner closely with Clinical Affairs, Human Factors, and User Experience teams to define clinical validation needs, evaluate study outcomes, and confirm risk control effectiveness.
- Inform and shape evidence generation strategies to support regulatory approval, labeling, and competitive product claims.
- Analyze and translate clinical and real-world data into clear, actionable insights that support regulatory, commercial, and value messaging objectives.
- Gather medical intelligence through engagement with Medical Science Liaisons, investigators, advisory boards, and external experts.
- Collaborate on medical go-to-market strategies, including professional education programs, medical conference content, and healthcare provider engagement initiatives.
- Support assessment of healthcare professional learning needs and educational programs to ensure safe and effective use of Omnipod and related products.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in clinical, industry, or research settings related to diabetes and diabetes technologies (e.g., insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring systems), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Life sciences degree with 5+ years of experience in Medical Affairs and/or medical strategy within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or related healthcare industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree and/or healthcare-related certification, such as:
- Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Registered Dietitian (RD)
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)
- PharmD
- Demonstrated success in Medical Affairs, including development and execution of medical strategy.
- Deep understanding of diabetes (Type 1 and Type
2), including pathophysiology, treatment approaches, risks, and outcomes. - Advanced knowledge of diabetes technologies, including automated insulin delivery systems.
- Experience designing research studies and interpreting clinical and real-world data.
- Strong medical communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for cross-functional teamwork.
- Strong technical, scientific, and business acumen.
- Clear understanding of U.S. and global medical device regulatory environments.
- Ability to thrive in a-paced, highly matrixed environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and consistently meets or exceeds expectations.
- Proficiency with relevant software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe, medical information, and promotional review systems).
