Role Description The Orthopedic Physical Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Acton, MA. This role involves evaluating patients with orthopedic and neurologic conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering hands-on and exercise-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function. The therapist will provide patient and caregiver education, track progress through standardized outcome measures, and adjust plans of care as needed.
Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and participating in clinic initiatives to enhance patient experience and clinical quality.
Qualifications
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Massachusetts.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
- Experience or strong interest in orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation, including acute and chronic conditions.
- Skill in developing individualized treatment plans, delivering manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, and using evidence-based practice.
- Ability to perform thorough patient evaluations, including functional assessments and outcome measurements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for educating patients and collaborating with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members.
- Organizational and documentation skills, including proficiency with electronic medical records.
- Commitment to inclusive, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development; experience in outpatient or similar settings is preferred.
