Senior Medical Affairs Specialist – Global Medical Communications

If you're an experienced Medical Affairs professional with expertise in diabetes and medical communications, this is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping global medical strategy for an industry-leading diabetes technology portfolio.

We're looking for a senior professional who can confidently interpret clinical evidence, influence cross-functional strategy, and communicate complex scientific data to healthcare professionals and global stakeholders. You'll partner with Clinical, Regulatory, and Commercial leadership to ensure the scientific integrity and clinical value of innovative diabetes technologies are communicated effectively around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of scientifically accurate medical responses for healthcare professionals.
  • Review promotional and clinical materials to ensure medical accuracy, compliance, and alignment with global regulations.
  • Drive evidence generation strategies that support product innovation, regulatory submissions, and expanded clinical claims.
  • Analyze and interpret clinical evidence to guide Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Regulatory initiatives.
  • Develop and execute global medical communication strategies for healthcare professionals, internal stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and investors.
  • Partner with Clinical and Regulatory teams on global clinical summaries and regulatory submissions.
  • Represent Medical Affairs at scientific congresses through presentations, medical information activities, and scientific reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field required. Advanced degree or healthcare credentials (PharmD, RN, NP, PA, RD, CDCES/CDE, or equivalent) are preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, clinical research, healthcare, or a related industry.
  • Experience with in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, including Medical Affairs, is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of diabetes, insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), or related diabetes technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate clinical evidence and translate complex scientific data into meaningful medical communications.
  • Working knowledge of global regulatory requirements and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional global environment.
