We are seeking one experienced Senior Global Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processing, time tracking systems, compliance controls, and global payroll operations within a dynamic, multi‑site environment. This role is ideal for a strategic payroll professional who combines technical expertise, systems leadership, and process improvement to deliver secure, integrated, and compliant payroll solutions across international operations.

& Pay

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: Up to $67.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

What You’ll Do
  • Critically review, analyze, and streamline global payroll processes to build a high-performing payroll function
  • Lead payroll processing, time tracking administration, and payroll systems oversight
  • Manage and optimize Workday payroll system configuration, reporting, data audits, and troubleshooting
  • Lead end-to-end payroll system implementations to improve efficiency and compliance
  • Develop payroll controls, documentation, and best practices to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance
  • Serve as liaison between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and global tax authorities
  • Provide responsive, high-level customer service to employees, managers, and third parties for payroll inquiries
  • Oversee data audits, system configuration updates, scheduled and ad-hoc reporting
  • Analyze payroll-related issues, escalation as necessary, and drive timely resolution
  • Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations, internal controls, and accounting principles
  • Develop and update process documentation and training materials for payroll and timekeeping teams
  • Train payroll staff and time approvers to ensure operational excellence
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll system capabilities and business performance
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee information
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including global or multi-site payroll operations
  • Hands‑on experience with Workday payroll systems
  • Experience implementing end-to-end payroll processing and compliance solutions
  • Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations, internal controls, payroll balancing, and audits
  • Experience managing complex payroll issues, including multi-region payroll, disability programs, garnishments, and benefits coordination
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into operational payroll requirements
  • Experience leading payroll system implementations and process improvements
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation practices
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Concur, and Workday
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple organizational levels
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and quality of work
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement
  • CPP designation, manufacturing industry experience, and experience auditing payroll tax compliance are preferred.
