Sr. Employee Relations Specialist

Location:
Hybrid – Acton, MA (Onsite 1–2 days/week or as needed)

Duration: 3+ Month(s)

Pay Range : $50/hr – $56.66/hr on W2

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Sr. Employee Relations Specialist with 5–8 years of Employee Relations experience to support employees and managers across HR functions. This role focuses on employee relations, investigations, performance management, corrective actions, HR policy guidance, Workday transactions, and compliance with employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR teams to support employee relations matters, performance management, corrective actions, and terminations.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Develop and manage Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
  • Process organizational and employee changes in Workday, including manager updates, job changes, and terminations.
  • Analyze exit interview trends and prepare employee relations reports.
  • Support HR inquiries and deliver employee relations training to managers and employees.
  • Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5–8 years of Employee Relations experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and compliance.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Experience working in diverse and inclusive workplace environments.
