Senior Subcontracts Administrator

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Subcontract Administrator to support a growing Space Systems division focused on advanced technologies and mission-critical programs. This role plays a key part in managing complex subcontracting activities, supporting high-visibility programs, and partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead end-to-end subcontract administration for complex hardware and services

* Prepare and manage RFPs/RFQs, including source selection and evaluation

* Conduct cost and price analysis and support program pricing reviews

* Lead subcontract negotiations and drive agreement terms and conditions

* Interpret and advise on contractual obligations, risks, and compliance requirements

* Review and manage Statements of Work (SOWs) and subcontract deliverables

* Identify risks and develop solutions to subcontracting challenges

* Serve as a primary point of contact for subcontract-related matters with internal teams, suppliers, and customers

* Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (FAR, DFARS, ITAR) and company policies throughout the procurement lifecycle

* Support proposal activities and ongoing program execution

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Contract Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

* 10+ years of experience in subcontract administration, procurement, or government contracting

* Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government contracting regulations

* Proven experience with cost/price analysis and subcontract negotiations

* Experience managing Statements of Work (SOWs) and subcontract deliverables

* Familiarity with various contract types (e.g., FFP, CPFF, T&M)

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and interact effectively with Senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience supporting DoD, NASA, or space-related programs

* Background in defense contracting or working with prime contractors

* Familiarity with SAP or similar procurement systems

* Active or ability to obtain a DoD security clearance

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
