Senior Systems DevOps Engineer

Job Summary The Senior Systems Dev Ops Engineer will support the Systems Test Automation team responsible for the Omnipod ecosystem, including the Pod, PDM, CGM integrations, and Cloud platforms. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing CI/CD infrastructure, Bamboo and Jenkins environments, test automation frameworks, and hardware-based laboratory systems used for automated end-to-end testing. The ideal candidate will have strong Dev Ops expertise, experience with automation and infrastructure management, and the ability to improve and standardize existing processes while supporting both software and hardware testing environments.

The position is based in Acton, MA and requires a minimum of three days onsite each week.
   
   The individual in this position will collaborate closely with Systems Automation, Systems Design Verification, Systems Engineering, and Quality teams to define and execute the Systems Dev Ops strategy, roadmap, priorities, and execution plans. The Senior Systems Dev Ops Engineer will drive the development of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code solutions, and automated test environments that enable efficient system-level automation across multiple product platforms and releases.

The successful candidate will serve as a technical leader responsible for advancing Systems Automation Dev Ops capabilities, improving operational efficiency, ensuring infrastructure reliability, and promoting standardization of tools, processes, and best practices across the organization. This role requires strong technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Manageandenhance Dev Ops platforms ,deployment systems,andtestautomationinfrastructuresupporting

Providetechnicalleadership,mentorship,andguidancetoengineerswhilesupportingprojectplanning,estimation,and execution.

Basic

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

At least 8 years of experience in Dev Ops Engineering, Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Infrastructure Engineering, or a related discipline.

At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and Dev Ops workflows.

At least 3 years of experience developing, integrating, and troubleshooting embedded systems, development boards (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi), and hardware/software interfaces supporting automated testing and system integration.
