Associate Manufacturing Technician

Job Location - Acton, Massachusetts, 01720

Job Duration: 8 months

Pay Rate - $24 - $27.60/hr

Shift time - 6 am to 6 pm - Fri-sun

The pay rate includes 15% shift differential for night shift.

• Perform equipment setup, operation, repair, and preventative maintenance tasks according to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Maintain machine raw material feeds, clear stoppages, and troubleshoot mechanical errors or process issues.
• Utilize Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to monitor and correct process control deviations.
• Prepare raw materials and ensure jobs are completed on time to meet production schedules.
• Execute equipment inspections and generate corrective, preventative, or emergency work orders as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of machinery.
• Use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.) to verify product tolerances.
• Work from specifications, work orders, and general instructions from supervisors.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), including material handling, recordkeeping, packaging, and shipment preparation.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintain a clean production environment.
• Collaborate with small groups and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, identify, and implement corrective actions.
• Notify supervisor of any discrepancies to maintain quality standards and operational safety.

• Required to stand for at least 75% of working time per shift, with walking at least 50% of working time per shift.
