Material Control Associate - Medical Device Manufacturing
Location: Acton, MA
Pay Rate: $27.61 per hour (includes shift differential)
Shift: Friday-Sunday | 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (36 hours)
We are hiring a Material Control Associate to support warehouse and cleanroom material movement within a regulated medical device manufacturing facility in Acton, MA. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely transfer of components while maintaining compliance with 21 CFR and ISO 13485 quality standards.
This position operates in a fast-paced production environment and requires 12-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Transfer materials between the warehouse and the cleanroom following SOPs and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
- Process accurate material transactions in the SAP ERP system
- Replenish the Material Control Room using Kanban inventory systems
- Operate warehouse equipment, including manual pallet jacks and plastic balers
- Maintain clean, organized work areas in compliance with GMP standards
- Respond promptly to radio communications and production requests
- Complete end-of-shift tasks including packaging and waste removal
- High School Diploma or GED
- No prior experience required; training provided
- Experience in warehouse, material handling, or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions in English
