Mon to Thu - 6pm to 6.30am
- The Associate Manufacturing Technician plays a vital role in a unique and impactful mission to enhance manufacturing capabilities within the US and expand our international reach.

- The successful candidate will operate and maintain sophisticated manufacturing equipment essential to producing our flagship products.
- They will be trained to handle various technologies, including heat staking, laser welding, mechanical swaging, PCB handling and testing, robotic automation, metal stamping, medical packaging, and high-speed component assembly.
- Responsibilities also include ensuring product quality, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment in a fast-paced setting.
- Set up, operate, repair, and perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to uphold safety, quality, and efficiency standards, with minimal supervision.
- Manage raw material feeds, clear faults, and resolve stoppages on automated machinery.
- Use human machine interfaces (HMIs) to monitor, identify, and correct process deviations.
- Prepare raw materials correctly and ensure timely execution of production jobs to meet delivery schedules.
- Conduct equipment inspections, generate work orders for repairs or preventative measures, and troubleshoot mechanical or safety issues within production lines.
- Support inventory management and quality processes through computer systems.
- Assist with new product transfer, process development, equipment validation, and process validation efforts.
- Investigate and resolve process issues within assigned equipment areas.
- Perform routine cleaning, inspections, lubrication, and maintenance of machinery and monitoring devices.
- Use measuring tools to verify tolerances and ensure precision.
- Follow specifications, work orders, and instructions from supervisors or team leads.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures including material handling, record keeping, packaging, and shipment preparation, while complying with good manufacturing practices.
- Report discrepancies or safety concerns promptly to maintain high standards.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, organization, and independence, while working collaboratively in team environments.
- Ensure the work environment remains clean and compliant with industry standards for medical device manufacturing.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational excellence.
- High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of 3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency in English for reading, communication, and documentation.
- Basic mathematical skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand for at least 75% of a shift, walk for at least 50%, and reach above shoulder height frequently.
- Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally.
- Experience operating, debugging, and maintaining highly automated manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with human machine interfaces (HMIs) and manufacturing instrumentation such as micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, dial indicators, and gauge blocks.
- Background working with optical gauging, video microscopes, and other measurement devices.
- Prior experience in the medical device industry, especially in discreet assembly, robotics, and cleanroom environments.
- Knowledge of technologies like laser welding, heat staking, and ultrasonic welding.
- Experience working in a start-up or fast-growth production setting.
- Strong mechanical skills related to design, use, repair, and maintenance of automated tools and machines.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
