Production Specialist - 2nd Shift
Location: Acton, MA
Pay: $24.29/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Specialist for a temporary opportunity supporting medical device manufacturing operations. This role involves product assembly, device configuration, inventory management, quality inspections, and production support in a highly regulated environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse operations, or quality control.
Job Duties- Assemble, label, test, and package medical device products and component kits.
- Configure and inspect handheld electronic devices according to documented procedures.
- Operate testing equipment and verify product quality standards.
- Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, stock replenishment, and inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Identify and report quality, safety, or process concerns.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production environment.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous production, assembly, manufacturing, electronics assembly, or warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Ability to distinguish red, green, and blue indicators on electronic devices.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions in English.
- Comfortable performing light mechanical assembly and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Manual dexterity required for assembly, inspection, and packaging tasks.
