Sorting Coordinator - 2nd Shift

Location: Acton, MA

Pay: $24.29/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

We are hiring a detail-oriented Sorting Coordinator for a temporary position supporting quality and inspection operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing visual inspections, identifying product defects, and ensuring products meet established quality standards before release.

Job Duties
  • Perform visual inspections of products according to established sorting and quality requirements.
  • Identify, separate, and report non-conforming products.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality guidelines.
  • Accurately document inspection results and communicate findings to the Sort Leader and production team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work closely with team members to support production and quality objectives.
  • Perform additional inspection and manufacturing support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, receiving, distribution, warehouse, or production support environments preferred.
  • Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Strong visual acuity required to identify product defects and quality issues.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive inspection tasks throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to work on-site in a manufacturing environment.
